Our journey started in 2021 when covid forced us to start working from home, and with that, it meant we had to attend a lot more video work calls, which is where we started to think about our ears.
The problems we found:
1. In-ear headphones would start to hurt our ears after a while and we also noticed a build-up in wax after extended use.
2. Over-head headphones made our heads hot and feel sore with the tension.
3. Wired headsets didn't allow us to leave our desks to get a drink, or food, or answer the door.
4. Bluetooth in headsets less than $100 was trash, it either wouldn't connect or the connection would keep dropping making work calls impossible.
5. Microphones across all headphones were hit and miss (even our wireless, white, in-ear headphones that rhyme with hair-pods pro).
Our solution:
Bone Sense Headphones - our bone conduction headphones gave us a reliable connection, with a decent microphone, lightweight on the head but also without the discomfort of sticking something in our ears.
What we found:
Bone Sense weren't just good for our home office. We could use them running and cycling, allowing us to hear traffic around us, keeping us safe. We could use them hiking, enjoying the sounds of nature and some chill music. We could use them with hearing aids, allowing people to enjoy music or even just watching a movie on a plane.
